Post by lwb140 »

Hello all working on my dads 400 he bought new in the fall of 75 the first sled I ever rode ! Anyway are the bendix fuel pumps serviceable ? Any kits available for them ? Also what about carb kits I got one for this sled from Brock but I can find it right this minute but I believe it was for a walbro thanks in advance. Wade

Wade I have had a few of the Bendix pumps and carbs apart.

Pumps are very similar to the other brands. One was just cleaned and put back together and worked just fine.
The other was toast inside and was replace with a mikuni.

One carb was fine inside and worked.. The other joined the pump in the trash.
A member on here had some gasket kits repoped but I do not remember who it was and I do not think it was a complete carb kit.

Is that the same bendix carb on a 433 yamaha in a sno-jet. the reason I ask is my son is working on this blue beast and we are trying to find a hi speed adj. needle.
