FS- 1981 Liquifire

Post by pwgsx »

I have a 81 Liquifire that I am selling. Every electrical switch works, carbs were just cleaned, all new fuel lines were installed, new fuel pump, cleaned and ran new fuel pick-up and on/off switch in tank, new brake lever, new carb boots, replaced the crank seals, re-painted muffler, new lower cooling hose, perfect compression, new spare belt, new rub bars on the front skis, only has 750 or so miles on the sled and a small box of parts- screws, headlight, brake light, clips etc. The bad: no rear snow flap, trimmed wind deflector because it was cracked up top, may need new shocks. I am located in DFW Texas and obviously we don't get much snow and most will have to drive to pick her up so I am open to offers, worst I can say is no. We had one winter storm in Dec. and had a blast riding but I want to see her rode and not collect dust in my shed. Asking $1,200 :beers;

A few more pics.....Also forgot, the seat was recovered and the sled could use a wash as it is dusty from sitting in the shed.

Thanks man, I gave the buyer your e mail, he is a forum member in IL so you might be hearing from him. Hate to see her sold but at least she will see A LOT more snow. I might have to find another project sled to keep me occupied.
