Liquidator crank and 340/s

Post by I500 »

I have a Dator crank that's sitting up by Jerome. It does have one bad lower bearing and rod. Rest is in great shape. I know there are a lot of cranks that have the same issue. Buy this one and put the 2 together and get your Dator running again. $600 or reasonable offer.

340/s..... This is a pretty nice sled. It was my drag race sled and trail rider. Not the exact color but close, 78 liquifire suspension and this sled runs great and is very solid, metal pan. This sled has not been run for 2 years. Put a little carb cleaner in the holes and it started in 1 pull. Went for a 25 mile ride and didn't miss a beat. Fun sled.
I will have it at Waconia if interested in driving and looking. $2600

Duane. Notice how I said hasn't been run in 2 years. If a sled hasn't been ridden in a couple years than perhaps its time for a new home. Its a great sled and I rode it like crazy and really have enjoyed this sled. Lots of race trophies as she's quick. Just don't want to see it getting dusty in a shop or garage. This sled was meant to be ridden. Will post pics later today.

Decided to take it for another ride, started right up, 2 mile drive, pulled into the driveway for pictures, went to start it to drive into trailer. Yep, recoil rope broke. Started to laugh. I don't think it wants to leave. So now I have to get into garage to repair rope. No mater how well you think something is, sht will happen. LOL

It's all part of the fun Chuck.

Good thing you can laugh about it.

Nice sled Chuck if I had the extra money and could park the Acadia outside I'd buy it but you know how that goes. I would be sleeping in the garage.

Darn cool sled, Chuck.
I agree that sleds are made to be operated and the hard part of having more than one or two comes when you have to drive them enough to keep them up to snuff.
