I know this is a longshot, but i was wondering if anyone would have a skid frame shock for a 1978 CC Liquifire P/N AM54696 or offhand know the equivalent.
Thanks in advance.

Re: WTB AM54696 Shock
Greg, I feel certain that the shock on my CC came from Royal Distributing, selected by dimension. It's been a few years but that's my thought. If I were to do it again though it would be a modern gas shock made for the sled. I want to give you a huge shout out here. Thanks to Gregs advice a couple years ago I have a great running CC and the clutching was the answer!!! Best wishes my friend.

Re: WTB AM54696 Shock
Hey Don ,
I was pretty much thinking that i would have to select one from a numerical listing. Tried a dealer search on the locator here at work and no go - had to try neverthess! Royal is starting to slim down the selection of aftermarket parts for the older machines these days but i have other sources however or, a better option is a modern gas shock made specifically for the application.
Thanks much for the reply and hope all is well. Glad i could help you make your CC run better. With exception to the shock difficulty, mine is running pretty nice after some carburetor recalibrating.
Take care!
Greg
