Aaen pipes are cool in the noise factor if thats what you want. Just putting on pipes will actually hurt your eng performance unless the engine is ported and clutched to the pipes. The pipes put the power band somewhere in the 9000 rpm range but the power band is very narrow for max power. Unless your running 9000 it probably makes less hp than the factory pipe. The factory pipe has much broader power band for trail riding the max power band is around 8000 rpm. Hope this helps

So you could put a set on a stock sled and won't hurt anything?

It will be just louder as well as slower, Stock is better unless u r gonna put the $ into porting as well as getting the clutch set up to the higher RPMS to get into the power curve of the pipes. Just my opinion i might be wrong. Brock

Speed is not a concern for me.it's more for the wow factor/noise when I pull up to our friends bush shack. I just dont want all my hard work go up in smoke.

I wouldn't recommend putting them on. But if you do, the stock tune up will not hurt it.
