Just saw on Ebay an electric temp gauge listed with the correct part number for the mechanical gauge for a early Liquifire. Item # 221368071000.
Has anyone ever heard of such a thing being available from Deere?

I'm going to guess that box was labeled incorrectly when they put that P/N on it. Unless maybe S/W was selling this on their own as a replacement. It doesn't look like something Deere would have approved for a replacement, and of course there is no Deere branding.

Creative marketing. In my opinion.
If it was made for the exact aplication as listed it would not have all the adapters in the box.

I see it and can't argue about the part number being on the box but it is not a John Deere product. It's clearly a Stewart-Warner gauge. Isn't that sticker one similar to what DK put on parts?

In the mid 90s I tried to order a replacement temp gauge for my 80 liquifire and ended up with one of these. I installed it, fired up the sled and discovered it did not like AC voltage. After about 10 seconds the gauge would peg at max. I promptly removed it and returned it.
