Hey Joe you better hit the road!

Arriving too late is no excuse for not finishing the race. :sled:

Anyone got an extra room at the RWTC? I know its late in the game but if it weren't for the last minute nothing would get done. :bonk: Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I bet they have a roll-a-way if you want to bunk with Dustin and me.

It is worth the trip and the memories.

The word from the guys already in St Germain is that the conditions are GREAT!

The weather is sounding decent, I am stoked. Now if I could just find time for a little sleep...

I waited until the last minute. I'm pulling the motor out of my 76 340 Liquifire right now to replace the crank seals and motor mounts. I've already cleaned the fuel system. I also have one ski to replace and install the new carbides I have. Just making her look real pretty too. Here is the forecast for St. Germain. I don't have hand warmers so I better pack those chemical hand warmers. I look forward to seeing everyone. It's my first trip since 2007 and that year we could only ride on the lakes because the trails had harly any snow. I hope the trails are nice and smooth.

Thursday: 70% chance for snow showers low of 2 and a high of 24
Friday: overcast low of -12 and a high of 13
Saturday: partly cloudy low of -3 and a high of 17
Sunday: 30% chance of light snow low 16 and a high of 23

I was just North of St. germain last week---trails in that area are in great shape---Might be the best conditions in 10 years or so----have fun and be safe.

I'm so frustrated. I put new crank seals, new motor mounts, new carbides, replaced a ski, and dolled up my 76 Liquifire 340 for RWTC's. I noticed the brake light and the head light only worked on high beam. It wasn't the bulb for either. I then replaced the brake switch. Instead of a brake light coming on it made it so there was no light at all when you hit the brakes. I tested the plug in while it was running and it quite running. Now no spark. I was so looking forward to riding a Deere. Now I'm prepping my 88 Eltigre 6000 instead. Ugh.

That is frustrating! It sounds like a grounding/short problem. Makes it even worse now that you have lost spark. I hate electrical issues, and would rather replace crank seals! Good Luck!
