1983 Liquifire for sale

I have decided to let go of my 1983 Liquifire. The odometer reads 417 miles, and it looks to be correct. The back story that was told to me from the person that I bought it from was that it was ridden very little when it was new, then put away in a shed where it sat for many years. The person I bought it from had purchased it in the early 2000's as a trail rider. The engine blew up due to a bad crank seal, and it was put away again until I bought it this past summer. I have gone completely through this machine to make it trail worthy. The engine has been rebuilt with new pistons and rings, and new Cometic gaskets and seals. The skid has been pulled, checked over, and lubricated, and I put new wear rods on the skis. The seat has been recovered by John's upholstery. All the gauges work as they should. It has the TR-800 clutch setup, and the HSR ignition. The track looks good, and the hood has it's original paint. There is a crack on the back right hand side, but has been patched on the inside to prevent it from growing. All in all, this is a very nice original machine. The price is $1600.
