Kohler 340FA engine....
Have a 1978 Kohler K340-2FA engine for sale[Came out of Spitfire].It does run,but starts hard,has new crank seals.NO clutch,engine mount,exhaust pipe/muffler or fuel pump. I'm thinking the compression is 140/145.Also have an extra crankshaft with bearings,rolls smooth.Engine comes with:VM28 Mikuni carb[with choke cable,throttle cable & slanted carb boot],CDI box & coil,good recoil,& exhaust hedder pipe[one that is bolted to jugs]. It is in a 1971 Rupp Sprint 34,which isn't for sale.Will not ship,pick up only. It's in Wahpeton,ND.$150.00 or offer. This engine has been SOLD!!!!
