Ok got the seals replaced getting fuel up to the carb still having a flooding problem, I removed the carb installed all new gaskets and diaphragms still flooding. I removed the carb again checked the metering valve was set correctly still flooding. Any suggestions Jeff ps have great spark

Try adjusting the metering valve arm so that it closes sooner. A few of us have run into this problem with the replacement gasket kits, and the "correct" setting does not work any more.

Matt I went to new breed web site found points but can not find condensers for 76 kohler 295 ax2 can you help also looking for a lighting coil has any one used the Kirk engines points saver ?Thanks Jeff :think:

Is it flooding both sides or just one?

Todd the carb is flooding in the venturi not on the sides too much fuel. I think Matt has got it the metering valve arm still to high even at speck. So I will adjust it for a smaller opening Thanks Jeff

I thought you ment the engine was flooding out so my question was is it both cylinders.

If you have fuel spitting back out of the the carb than it is metering.
