Kenny. If your talking motor studs than I am also looking for some for Dator motors. I was told from Bill Buehn at Anoka that a good source is S&S Fastener in Ham Lake MN. I have not contacted them yet but plan to in the near future

If you need Kawi studs, I have NOS long ones for most of Kawasaki motors Deere used. Sorry, but I don't have any for the CCE/Kioritz motors.

I looked around Kansas City today but couldn't find what I needed / wanted, Mac Master Carr also no luck, so I guess I'll be doing some late night Google surcharges.
What i think I need is a automotive double ended style studs M8 X 1.00 X 123.825 mm which seems to be an odd ball length.
Might be able to fudge on the length I need +/- a bit ( I haven't got the case girdle built yet to know for sure on the length I need )
I keep you guy posted if I find a good source for oddball studs like for the Dators & my needs..

Todd, I have to ck on that but I do know they fit into a 1.00 on my thread chart? I need to get an actual nut that I know is 1.00 or 1.25 in my hands to make positively sure, I've been running into a few thread differences on other metric bolts lately??

Todd, you were right they are 1.25 pitch that damn new plastic pitch gauge a guy gave me is molded wrong, guess you can't trust anything you get for nothing anymore

So MCM has 140 mm long with 35 mm of thread each end in 8mm x 1.23mm.
$3.40 each.
Just cut off 12 mm on each end and you have what you need.

I had a Dator stud made from a good bolt , threads were cut on w/ a lathe not a die. , think it will work fine and is good material Wade

Wade, I really need to get my plates back from the race shop, once I get them & drill the holes then I will know for sure on the proper length. I'll ck today to see if the got them cut..
But yes IF you can get them made I'll need some.. Should I get the rod? I think I can order some good cold rolled 4130 or better steel rods I just need to know what type of steel would be equivalent to Grade 6 or 8 studs..
