snowfire sled?

is the snowfire a rare sled and if so what year should i buy i have a chance to buy one but need to know what build date to get to make worth my time to restore.

82 would be the rarest followed by 84. 84 would probably be the most valuable.

The Snowfire was built from 82-84, but was not a very high volume machine. Only 175 were built for the early release in 82, about 600 for 83 and about 185 for 1984.

82's are sought after due to uniqueness of the early release, and all the 84's are desirable due to it being Deere's last year. But with only 600 built, the 83's were not exactly common either.

Bob its an 83 that your looking at right? Maybe sitting under a trailer? Am I getting warm? I got pics too. I am probably gonna pass on it. ;-)

yes you are on the right trail i can get the seat done and get a windshield as long as the rest is in good shape.do you have any suggestions for that sled that i dont know about?
