Could you just put in a needle and seat in your carb?
If not I do have good used carbs and a choke spring.
Many new and used parts available, I ship anywhere. Thanks everyone.

It did not originally fire, so took it apart to clean. Purchased a carb kit, but it apparently is not the right one. the needle and seat seem to be sealing. when bringing the ??? even with the bowl, the needle seals off and can not get air through it. Put everything back together and was able to get it started as above. Rescued this sled from the Junk yard. Was in pretty good shape, however a family of mice made there home in the air-box. Had a lot of junk (not corrosion) Maybe did not get something out? Have it soaking in vinegar and the jets soaking in ammonia now. Exhaust is clear. Took the heads off replaced gaskets cleaned and put back together. So top half has all new seals.

Would i can put in the new needle and seat from the carb kit but its a bit different. My needle does not have a snap ring holding it into the seat, where the new seat has a grove and snap ring.

Would the Crank seals cause this to flood to? Can look tomorrow, was hoping they had been replaced. Found old seals in the storage compartment and bearings. I should be able to spray carb cleaner and look for an elevate idle right to check?

You said top half has all new seals. There are no seals in the top. Gaskets yes, but not seals.

Crankseals are a huge issue with older engines. If it sat for a few years they should be changed out.

Indirectly crankseals can cause flooding.
In an attemp to get an engine with leaky seals to run the carb may have been richend up. Then when seals got some lube on them they temporaily sealed again.
Not you are way rich and flooding. Then you get the mixture dialed back down and off you go for the first ride.
It may be a very short ride till the seals self distruct for a little heat. And there you sit.

When in doubt change them out.

Also don't over look the fuel pump as a source of your flooding problem.

So It is the seals. Looks like the pistons are scored pretty bad but the heads are fine. Not sure how that came about. Guess its on to tearing the sled down and restoration. Had hoped to take it out this winter before starting.
