1983 Liquifire / Parting Out

Post by 427cobra »

I picked up an 83' LF over the weekend for the ignition parts.

Its pretty complete machine but in rough shape. I plan on parting it out. After I get the igintion parts removed.

Someone added drop brackets to the rear suspension. So the back end sits about 3" higher than stock!

Let me know what you need. :beers;
-No windshield or seat

Ill try and get some pictures posted tonight or tomorrow.

I may be interested in the motor and carbs.
Maybe you can do your magic and put new seals in it for me.
I can send a late ignition too if needed.
Many new and used parts available, I ship anywhere. Thanks everyone.

Engine feels rough. I think something is wrong internally. I may have time to dig into it further this week.

TR800 clutch for parts. $40.00
Perfect dash and gauges . $55.00

I'll also want to sell the chassis once the motor is removed.

I'll get some pictures posted later.

1.The spring isn’t the correct one. Looks like an oil tank spring. Ill throw it in for free.
2. I hope to have time next week to pull the motor and front end apart and will let you know if the bushings are good
3.The skis are junk. But I do have a nice pair from a 80LF. I will take a closer look at the springs when I take the front end apart

Thanks for the interest and Ill get back to you!

Carbs are Sold

Anyone interested in the bare chassis? Id hate to scrap it if someone could use it... The tunnel, belly pan, bumber, TPR's are all usable.

I dont have the room to store it long term

Might have time next week to get it all stripped down.
