No and I usually don't comment about prices but that price is unreasonable. He/She would be soooo much better off to seperate IMHO.

Re: 295/s collection
Selling as one lot is certainly going to limit the number of potential buyers I would think. Neat stuff.

Re: 295/s collection
He used to be a member here but I don't think he comes around any more. My previous 295/S is in his collection. I actually don't think his price is unreasonable as a starting point, I just doubt there is anyone who wants to buy that many of the same sled.

Re: 295/s collection
I wondered where all the 295s sled went, now I know. You really have to love a sled to buy that many of the same thing. I would like to own 1, but the others would not even fit in my shed. Good luck to the seller!

Re: 295/s collection
I know him. He is a good guy. He also has my 295/s in the collection. He bought a bunch of his sleds when the market was ALOT more active. I can almost guarantee he has ALOT more than his asking price invested in the sleds and parts he has.

Re: 295/s collection
When I wrote that the price was "unreasonable", what I meant was that the seller could likely get that much or more if he separated. There are many collectors who would want a 295/s to add to their collection. While I'm not really looking, a 295/S would complete our collection of John Deere race sleds. I apologize to the owner for the "unreasonable" statement but do believe that his expectation would be met and more if he separated. $30K is a bunch of money for one model.

Re: 295/s collection
Best part of these sleds is the hunt. Now with this many sleds made available all at once I believe the price drops significantly. I currently don't own a 295/s but having 1 in my collection would be a thought. Sold one a couple years ago to a fellow collector who in turn also sold to this seller. Wouldn't mind having it back.

Re: 295/s collection
OK, Chuck I have an idea!!!! Why don't you buy the collection and take what you want and separate the rest?? I'd even help you transport them. Let's talk about this over dinner Saturday night, I'm sure the ladies would love that!!!! See you soon.
