Any body know if the skis from a74 300 are the same as 75 800?

I believe the front hoop is different between them and the 74 ski uses a 2 bolt runner , the 75 uses a 3 bolt runner.

The ski design changed a bit most years, but the flat top loop was used from the beginning thru serial number 55000.
But like I said, 73s were a bit different than 72s, and 74s were different than 73s.
In '75 the 340/S came with the AM53578 round loop ski, and it appears that the production sleds above 55001 used that ski as well. In JDParts, it appears that all these skis used two stud wear rods.
That same AM53578 ski was used on Cyclones and Liquifires as well, but appears to have been upgraded to the 3 stud rod.
The drawings in JDParts may not be the last word on what is 100% correct. At any rate serial 55001 is towards the end of the line for the mid-mounts, most of the mid-mounts ran a flat top loop ski.
