posting this for my friend Charlie please call him for questions 815-398-6954. This is a clean 81 440 trailfire in ready to ride condition. It is all original with factory cover and has had new crank seals and gaskets done. Seat has no tears and is soft just missing the strap. I have more pictures i can email if intrested, posting it here before ebay. Asking $1200.00 shoot him an offer not sure whats its worth to some people

The lack of stripes on the hood says it's an 80'. I'd be very interested if anyone's headed toward Toledo. Transport...anyone?

Ok maybe its not an 80' no stripes on the hood but has painted handle bars, and the wider track. Cannot tell if the tunnel is bare aluminum or painted? Clean sled though.

Tunnels bare I can post a pic of the serial number. I think it was number 28 of the line so maybe it never got the stripes who knows.

I noticed too it has a heavy dash from 82 to 84.

serial number J44FK 155612M , Charlie picked this up last year so not to sure on the story I guess it does have some different stuff on it. The previous owner was not a collector and really just had the sled sitting around so I don't think it had a bunch of nos parts put on it from other years

Wow that is very nice im pretty interested in it i would really like that trailfire!! i just helped my friend bring home an old JDX8 from his folks place thats been sitting for almost 30 years and we got it back and running the other day it just needs a windshield! i live around the cedar rapids and toledo iowa area.

Hello I know this is off topic from the trailfire but I see you have 2 liquidators. I don't know if you seen my post about trying to find my dads or not but I was curious as to what the serial #s are on yours being as close to Wisconsin that you are. Thanks for your time.
