dads liquidator

Post by fletcher460 »

Hello everyone I'm new to the site as a member but have visited many times. My dad worked for the horicon works in the 70s and bought a liquidator new. He competed in many cc races w factory help w success but the time came for family and kids and career and the snowmobile got sold. I would desperately like to track it down and was wandering if anybody new of a way to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does your family have any paperwork with the serial # or pictures of it from when your dad raced it. that would be a good starting point.

I know what is like to try and find a piece of family history, I have been searching for my dads 6030 john deere for about 6 years now. I hope you find it, and are able to bring it home again. My search is at a dead end, and I fear it is lost. A lot of people think it is foolish, but to us it is important! Good luck, and hopefully whoever has it, will understand the importance. I do know that the last 3 digits of the serial # are 377 I'm sure my dad has pictures of it but Im trying to do this as a surprise to him and would not know where to look wo asking him. He bought it new from the dealer in Cuba city Wisconsin then brought it home to beaver dam wi and the man he sold it to was also from Bd but from there it is lost as that guy resold it many years ag. Maybe that's helps thanks for the replies

The JD dealer in Cuba City was called CB&C Equipment Company back in the day.
