I have a 76 cyclone 440 that needs new drive cogs and I am just curios if I can pull out the shaft and cogs without having to pull the skid frame. The idea came to me today just wondering your guys take.
I restored the slead 4 years a go and now i am revisiting the drive and shaft berrings and the chain case I want to re seal it and put in a proper tenioner and also get the broken speedo key out of the shaft so that works again . the old girl needs a refresher mechanicly.

The more I think about it when I was putting it together it is a real bugger to get to the bolts on the shaft with the track in place so I am best off pulling the skid so I can get right up there with my hands and then I can inspect my skid for good measure I will give an update when she's all squared away.
