1981 Sportfire crankshaft/connecting rods

Post by GlenBainSK »

Hey there all! I have a 1981 Sportfire in average condition overall. I have the sled over at my buddys getting the engine rebuilt. All in all everything looks good except the good ol' crankshaft bearings and seals needed to be replaced. We have run into a problem though. We are looking for 2 connecting rods, or a complete NOS crankshaft (wishfull thinking right) too finish the assembly. Does anyone have any leads, or know anyone who could help out in locating these rods? So eager too get back on this sled.. and it would be such a shame if the lack of connecting rods spoils the rebuild. Thanks again :)
