Hi Folks
I am in the middle of putting the engine back together on my 80 Liquifire and I recieved a used Kawasaki Cylinder from an Invader.
Upon closer inspection I notice that on a flat surface the Invader cylinder is noticably shorter about 2-3mm as well on the Invader cylinder the core sleeve sits a little down from being flush with the top of the cylinder body. The John Deere cylinder is completely flush.
see the photos and any tips advice is greatly appreciated! I will try and upload a few photos!

Re: Cylinders
When new these cylinders did not have a steel sleeve. The cylinder bores were chrome plated. It's my understanding that If you have steel sleeved cylinders you should be using a chrome ring.

Re: Cylinders
That doesnt sound like the two cylinders will match up too well. I'd look for another cylinder.
I have a few used LF cylinders if you decide you want to go that route.. Just send me a PM.
