Someone had a barn full of 'Dators, maybe it was Mike Hudziak? He sold most of his sleds.

I have a buddy that has 3 78' cross countries, 3 75' 340-S, 3 76' liquidators, 3 74' 295-S, and a 440 liquidator and that is just a start !! He is the most passionate collector I know, willing to help out at the snap of a finger.

I know where there's over 25 295/S in the same collection. That's gotta be one of the biggest collections of Deere race sleds out there.

Brian (80 spitfire) yep i know him too. ;-) I am very sure it's public knowledge now. Yeah and on the "440 Dator" we want pics to Confirm it. "Won't believe it until i see it"..... Not a race sled but i have an original IFS liquifire sitting at my house... NOT.....

It's been clearly proven that there are 440 Liquidator engines out there. They never went into full production.

I am pretty sure I have the biggest Deere sled collection...in Texas. Down here I have a rough 295/s, 2 complete 340/s' plus one disassembled, 2 or 3 Dators, plus 2 basket cases and 2 Cross Country Liquifires. The pic's are from when about half of the collection was down here...

Here is one of the known 440 Liquidator top ends:

The chassis Mr. Moser sold earlier this year was the closest anyone knowns of a complete 440 Liquidator. The Deere guys at the time remember two 440 Liquidator motors showing up in Horicon. No idea if more were built or not. Info is pretty sparse on them.
