#12) The Vintage Challenge First Out Award. Someone is going to win it, although we seem to have less breakdowns every year. Two years back the coveted trophie was won by Dan Larson and his two boys who managed to kill 3 Cat's before reaching the Mobile Station in Sayner.

So far, one of the JD guys seems to pick up this illustrious award 50% of the time. JRC won it in 2009, Archie Simmonson on a Polaris won in 2010, I got it in 2011 on the same Dator Jon won it on, Chace Long got it on a Yami in 2012, Dan Larson's Cat's earned it in 2013 and Todd Myers buddie won last year on a Trailfire. It's all in good fun and usually good for a few laughs.

Dispite eating a pile of spark plugs and even finding a tree, I was able to get my Liquifire back to the Whitetail in 2013 avoiding earning the trophie again...but Dustin Elder thought I should autograph a chuck of windshield for him. The Andersons really had fun with that:

And what iron would Greg, formally known as the "International Trailfire Terrorist" be riding this time? Will he bring the rebel/outlaw Trailfire ready to blow off stop signs with the blip of the throttle? Or will be be something more fitting for "Cross Country" theme? Could the featured sled from an article last year make a showing? Only Greg knows...

PS: Troy, no worries, I will be throwing Lindner under the bus soon...
2-1/2 more work days and #35 and myself along Nick and his Dad will be en route

Flashback all the way to 2007, dubbed as ride without the champs because there was no snow and the ride was cancelled - we still got all the JDs together for a ride around the lake.
