Just noticing a couple of things...
I know that in order to remove the muffler on a 300 one has to pull the secondary off.
But why the hairpins on the brake assy? I would be concerned about them moving and contacting the clutch sheeve.
And the two clamps are missing on the manifold.
You going with SS there also?
Are those grip and switches from a Spitfire?
They look good on there.

Re: Update: '74 300 timing.. again
Thanks for the input! And yes JDT, I did have to take the secondary off in order to take the exhaust off. I've had it off a half a dozen times lol and yes I did use a stainless band clamp!
The smallest clamp I could find was a 2" so I did some cutting, trimming and welding and wallah! I now have a 1.5" clamp The throttle and brake controls came off a 79 trail fire so I could adapt to a mikuni carb. Works great and it does look good too! I might have to jet down on the carb since it runs a little rich but it's still a blast to drive! The two clamps that go back to the cylinders are missing for now, I'm waiting for the stainless to come in to Napa. Thanks again for the input! -Rylie

Rather have it a little rich than lean.
Nice work!
