Snowfire rev limiter

Does anybody know if there's a difference between the snowfire/sprintfire rev limiter and the liquifire rev limiter? The one on my 84 snowfire is bad and there's a guy selling NOS liquifire limiters on ebay but he says in the description that they aren't the same as a sprintfire. I looked on the jd parts site under snowfire and could't even find a rev limiter listed. Thanks for your help!

Say Scott, my 84 Sprinfire has one but it went out so I unhooked it. I think they are pretty impossible to find. It was good talking to you the other night. Give me a call again soon. I didn't know but Jackson county where we rode last year opened up the trails this weekend. There must have been at least 50 sleds in Hatfield today at 4. I didn't realize they got more snow 40 miles south. I wouldn't say there was a abundance of snow but there was enough to ride.

I unplugged this one too. I wonder if it's really the box or just the switch in the throttle block.. Good to know about the snow but unfortunately we aren't able to go anywhere this year. Something came up with very short notice.

I did find a gas tank for my polaris for $50 shipped from that new salvage yard in Eau Claire just in case you're still looking. Now if only it would snow here again since the 45-50 deg days pretty much took care of any rideable snow here

What's the name of the new salvage yard in Eau Claire? I'm only 18 miles from Eau Claire and I was not aware of one. I heard one nearby closed but I hadn't heard of a new one.

They're advertising all over craigslist. The bill they sent my paypal says "fluff pen powersports". The guys number is 715-577-6059. No jd parts but quite a bit of newer model stuff
