This is bad news for me I have that piston coming for my 80 trailfire as that is what Dennis kirk calls for it.

I haven't got it completely together to do a compression check yet but part number 09-688 is almost identical to the oem piston off my 80' trailfire, the only difference between the two is that the aftermarket piston's rings are slightly thicker than the OEM which shouldn't make a difference except the rings don't interchange, as tmartin has said in a couple posts they are the listing for the 70's arctic cat 440's. I will update when I get to the compression check.
