Post by DeereKid9 »

I am in need of a M69314 - Green spring for the TR800 clutch.

I think JD600 (Dustin Elder) broke mine. :liar:

Please reply before I forget what all of the parts on my work bench are for. :wall:

Thank you,

Bob A.

know this thread its a bit old. Does anyone still have green springs for the TR800? Rebuilding two clutches and looks to be a needed part :)

TR800 springs are Arctic Hex Clutch springs and they use the same colour to identify them

The red spring is unique to John Deere. Cat never made one as stiff and a lot of the guys using Cat Hex clutches liked them on drag sleds.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the info. Although I knew Kenny Pressad was an engineer on the Cat Hex, Deere TR-800 and then the Ski-Doo TRA, I didn't know any of the TR-800 parts actually fit the HEX clutch. Good info to know.

Thanks again,

The irony here is that it may be easier to get NOS Deere springs than Cat Hex springs!
