Hi Everyone: I love reading all the comments, I myself have had a BLAST for 25 years on RWTC's. This was the Second year for "Swamp Challenge" & we had a bunch of folks on the ride. So much fun riding and also the conversations are very entertaining !!! So looking forward to 2016, Maybe have a little twist on next years Swamp Ride. Would like Swamp ride guys to think about this, I do not know a common thing that may go wrong with certain year JD sleds, thats an easy fix, You guys do. What if guys know ahead of time what they are riding, All you guys talk to each other and we take a good tool box and certain items in our support truck, Idle wheels, CDI boxs, Heim joints, Coils, Assortment of Bolts and Nuts There are enough stops we could fix pretty easy, Think about it.

Your "Swamp Challenge" ride seems to have hit a sweet spot between the Vintage Challenge and the shorter, more local rides. It has become quite an attraction, which is great for everyone. It's always a good idea to have a few spare parts on hand. I usually toss in tote full of belts and one full of Liquifire parts in the support trailer, just in case.

It looks like everyone covered the original question quite well. One thing to add for the "newer" sleds is to replace the oil injections lines if they are original. I seized Cari's Sprintfire motor a few years ago after one of my Liquidators ate a track, and it was due to a cracked oil line from the pump to the PTO intake port. Arctic Cat sells a very nice, thick wall oil line I use, but I am sure there are others also. I do not like the small diameter, thin wall blue primer line for oil injection either.

Outside of the typical crank seals, chassis bearings and fuel system, don't forget to replace the pick up line and filter in the tank. Finally I will add servicing your clutches too. For spare parts, a spare belt and few basic hand tools usually does the trick.

It's great to see the Deere collectors out enjoying their sleds, and supporting the Hall of Fame. Thank you all for taking part.
