Last riide, best ride

Post by Jd sled rider »

Well today marks the end of sledding for the season for me. When I returned from the farm today, my daughter wanted to play in the snow. First I had the cutter behind the trailfire, and it performed wonderfully! Next I got out the liquifire, and I let her drive. I never new how young the need for speed takes ahold. The first thing she did was pin the throttle, and dump daddy's big ass off the back! I learned very quickly to pay attention. Next her and mom rode the liquifire, and I rode the sportfire. We went for a ten mile jont and we had so much fun. I only wish I could have snapped a picture of her and my wife riding next to me across the field. These old deeres have made my winter a lot of fun this year, and I decided to end on a high note. Family time and sledding are the best way I know how! I will be honest, it has been a long while since I got dumped off the back of a sled, and I don't remember it being so much fun! Next winter I will add three more to the riding stable, and we will see if I can keep them all in running order through the winter. Later Lincoln

I took my daughter on her first snowmobile ride this week also. It was on a 79 enticer I already had the deeres in the garage when she came outside. Hopefully she didn't fall in love with yamahas now. Best memories on sleds are days like that. I remember those days when I was a kid riding with grandparents and family. Good times

Absolutely love that story !! Made me think of my daughter driving the liquifire last year.
A feel good about family and instilling memories of old sleds is one great warm feeling.
