Spitfire Drive Axle Bearings

Post by 455rocketv8 »

Hey All - searched the site, maybe I missed a thread. Anyone know where I can get drive axle bearings for my Kohler Spitfires? NewBreed has a bearing section but I can't make out the specific Spitfire bearings ... sent them an email and that may be the answer. Just throwing it out if anyone knows where to get these. Thanks for your time.

Thanks - I figured a Deere dealer would think I was crazy. Have looked at their online parts books and don't see the #'s. I will stop by the guy up the road and ask. I appreciate it.

No problem. If the part numbers don't match up, just take the bearings with you and they can measure them.

They might think you are crazy. Some dealers won't even talk to you if you tell them it's for a sled even if it's a current P/N.

JD part numbers: JD8555 for one side, JD8562 for the other.

On New Breed, it's this one:

and this one:
