Ride With The Champs riders

Post by 400brian »

One of the neat things about the RWTC has been the celebrities that have rode with us over the years. For those of us Deere guys doing the Vintage Challenge, it has bee really cool to be able to say that we have rode with Brian Nelson, Jon Carlson, and Tom Otte.

Was thinking here lately about who else we might recruit, what other celebrity might we enjoy riding with...

The first person that came to mind was Shania Twain. There have been rumors that she owns property north of Eagle River, but I don't know if this is, or ever has been true. Couple of problems with this idea...she is touring the USA right now, and is apparently taking the show overseas next year. Sounds like she is booked! Also, I don't seem to have her phone number. Can anyone help me out on that?

With no disrespect to Brian, Jon, and Tom. I think Shania might be a bigger draw!

If Shania can't be convinced to participate, I understand that Miranda Lambert is back on the market, maybe she could make it.

Any other ideas?

Danica Patrick of course. Her family has snowmobiling in their blood and she's from Beloit, WI. She's got nothing better to do during the winter, right?

Apparently we're in the "tween" season between planting and harvesting because Lindner has way too much time on his hands. Perhaps he's finally discovered that they make "machines" to milk cows with. How about inviting all the Presidential candidates to ride? That would require an entire stable of machines to outfit them with.

Matt, honestly that would work if RWTC didn't interfere with Daytona.

I think it must be raining in central WI, I can't think of why else Lindner's mind is so far off the weeds...

I got Beloit, WI from Wikipedia (not that Wikipedia can't be wrong, just citing my source) Not that it matters.

Lol didn't Ohio have a similar issue with a particular river border?

Who is the current ceo of John Deere? If anyone knows how to get in touch with them, I have a 83 Liquifire that is just fresh off the operating table and 100% ready to go. We could show what a mistake it was to sell out of the business. Later Lincoln

Not sure about that one but there have been several disputes about what state Lake Erie's Turtle Island belongs to.

Indiana has been trying to give Lake County to Illinois for years too. Guess they won the toss.

There was a issue long ago with MI-OH about what state Toledo was in.
But that was back in the 1830's if memory serves.

What I was getting at with Beloit was a dispute about an error is survey records that was discovered in 1985.
It would have moved the WI-Il broder 8 miles south of present day.

I was living in WI back than.
