Hi, There are a couple antique and classic sled shows coming up in central NY.
Don Rowe Antique and Classic Snowmobile Show on Jan. 20
East Coast Resorts, Parish, NY www.squarevalley.org

The Great Eastern Whiteout Snowmobile Show on Feb.10
Rt 5, Elbridge, NY @ Rolling Wheels Raceway
www.thegreateasternwhiteout.com

As of 1/4 we have no snow, sunshine and near 50 degrees! If anyone else knows of up coming shows please let everyone know. Looks like ours will be "on trailers" show! Thats OK, I'm still going! Thanks, Don.

Hi, I see I spelled the word "Great" eastern whiteout wrong but not sure how to fix it! If any one can go ahead. Tomorrow 1/6 if we get a break of sun in between light showers we might hit 65 degrees! What a strange winter! Thanks, Don.
I corrected it to "Great" Thanks.

Well, I am from Liverpool, NY--both locations are under one hour drive. It is COLD today, Wednesday January 17th! Yes, fairly thin snow but enough to stay cold. HOPEFULLY it will stay that way this weekend for the Don Rowe's show. The Whiteout show.. better pray or do a snow dance to have snow that weekend.

I hope this helps, folks!

82 LX: Uhh, tach...what tach?! Was I supposed to bring one somewhere...uh...opps!

Just kidding, I will be at the Whiteout again this year. Hopefully going a dry run of my show sled that I am planing to ride at the HOF "Ride with the Deere Gods".

For any of you eastern guys that do not know about it, the G.E.W. is pretty much the largest sled show in the east. I try to go every year if it doesn't fall on a SnoCross weekend. There are around 400+ show sleds, plus vintage oval racing. My buddie, the Waters Boy, tried to brake his wrist in 12 places last week, but only managed 11. So, I may have my Vintage Oval racing debute on his 80 LF stocker. "What do you mean there are no jumps in Oval Racing?!"

Unfortuately, I will be SnoCross racing at Pit-X in Verona NY (www.rockmaple.com) this weekend (Jan 20th), and will miss the Parish show. This is my first time back on the Cat since my season ender last year at the same track. Lets hope for no ambulance visits this year.
