anyone seen these skis

Post by snow7 »

Have thes on my 82 Trailfire just wondering if anyone knows what brand they are or if any are out there. I assume they are an aftermarket for better floatation. Out of 30 JD sleds I have around this is the only sled with these skis.

Those are Steffe skis, a brand of replacement ski. Most common. Either 10-23's or 10-24's.

Are you sure? They look very wide.

I have a pair just like those. Not sure what they are because they arrived on a sled I bought.

They are very wide compared to factory deere ones I haven't measured them, guess I could. I was just wondering if it was just a replacement ski or something that was supposed to offer better handling or something. Maybe I will have to take it to the mountains and it will float right past my 162".

Steffes 10-13 super-wide high flotation replacement skis.

They are 7.5" wide and 40" long. Fit standard 26-27" leafs.

Everyone needs a set.

I bought out all of the Steffes Mfg inventory (2400 skis), and have lots of the 10-13 wide skis, along with the 10-23 (JD thru 1977) and the 10-24 (JD 1978-newer) skis on hand - also have the Steffes boxes, so can ship a pair at a time.

Call or text for more info, as I don't get to the jdsleds forum very often.

Thanks
