Liquifire Help needed
Hi guys, need your help, I have a 1976 440 Liquifire, the engine will not rev up, it backfire and pops, I have cleaned the carbs, drained the gas, I checked the reeds, new plugs, the exhaust is not plugged, can anyone help, the carbs were nice and clean but I went through them anyway. I forgot to add that the sled seems like it is missing even when it is idleling.

Twinkies,
Checking the timing is not an easy task if you are not experienced. Before condeming the timing, check the ignition system following this guide. It sounds like you have an intermident spark.

Twinkies,
Technically, you should have B10's, but the B9's will work, just watch the plug color. The 9's are 1 step hotter.
