Wanted 83 Deere sled

While taking inventory of my running/ waiting for attention sleds, I realized I have a huge hole in my collection. I have one of every year but 83.

So I'm seeking a 83 sled. I have never owned a direct drive, so a Sprintfire or Snowfire would be good additions. I have always liked the looks of the 83 Liquifire and Sportfire. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to a nice Trailfire.

So, Location, condition and price are more of an issue than model.

I'm on the Lake Huron shore in Ontario, So a sled in Ontario would be easiest.

I've got an 83 sprintfire. I told cousin eddy wrong. It has been sitting a while but is in decent shape motor spins and has spark. I can email you pictures if interested.

ljm, if you are heading to the Waconia show I will have a 83 Sportfire there for sale. I just put crank seals in and rebuilt carb, new fuel lines and pump. Repainted a few years ago with OEM stickers on hood. Depending on time it may have a reupholstered seat also.
