Ski removal on Trailfire LX

So my brother JD440TF and I are tearing down our trailfires, and the main fastener holding the ski on seems to be rusted solid in the bushing. We're ready to torch them off but are wondering about the availability of the rubber cushion that is inset in that area.
A quick online search yields no results.
Looking for some advice....

Only can find used which they like to crack, grind the head and nut off and Then I believe there's enough there to work the ski off. Then you'll have the rubber piece out and can get the bolt out by heat then.

Yep been there...

The rubber saddles are kind of hard to find in good shape.

Grind the head off the bolt along with the threaded end. Now use a pry bar to separate the saddle from the ski spindle. Once the spindle is removed use a hydraulic press to remove the bushing and frozen bolt from the spindle...use heat as needed. Some times you can fit a thin cut off wheel between the spindle and saddle...to essentially cut the spindle out of the saddle.

Now you can buy the complete bushing kit from Don for reassembly... Its surprising how new hardware and bushings tighten up the steering.
