Hey fellas, new here...
i have a 1978 Liquefire 440 that i dragged out of the back 40 yesterday and we took for a rip out pulling GTs yesterday. ran wicked all day till we shut it off to add some gas...
Then it wouldn't Fire at all.. pulled the plugs and its go no spark at all. tried again when it was cold this morning and still no spark, seems weird the it would just all of a sudden quit like that. anyone have any idea as far as what it may be?

Re: 78 Liquifire No Spark
Disconnect the shut-off wire from the wiring harness to the engine and see if it has spark. If it does now, then there is a wiring problem. Kill switch, key switch, etc. If still no spark, then something went wrong in the engine's ignition, likely the CDI is bad.
Also, running an engine without at least replacing the crank seals & cleaning the carbs is a good way to blow it up.
