Comet clutch puller please!!

Post by 1982LiquFire440 »

I am desperately trying to find a comet clutch puller for my 102 clutch on my 79 trailfire and 80 Liquifire. I need to change the crank seals on my trailfire and I need to get the clutch off. I have been looking online and can't seem to find one. Anyone have one I can buy? Or even loan to me just to get the clutches off? Would be greatly appreciated... Thanks..

A fine threaded 3/4" bolt and a 3/8 bolt with the head cut off can be made to work.
You have to do some measuring to get the correct length.
This is a pic of what I used. The 3/4" was the jack bolt from a steering wheel puller. The 3/8 grade 8 bolt with the head cut off was the slug to bottom out in the crank.
