Hello and so it begins!

Post by jmlohrenz »

Hello all. New to the forums and new to the hobby. Inherited a 80 Trail-Fire from my dad, and decided I wanted to jump in with both feet. Picked up a 73 JDX8 and 400 today, and will hopefully be getting a 75 600 this weekend. Also ran into a guy that has a bunch of old JD stuff (not sure what that means) and he wants to get rid of it for free. Exciting to say the least! Will try to get some initial pics this weekend.

Welcome! You go get the JDX and 400 from Pipestone? I parted out some 400's and also have two JDX's I need to part out if you needs something.

What old JD stuff you find?

Yep I got those this week. Heading to Montevideo tomorrow to get a 75 600. The jdx and 400 are going to be longer term projects. My dads trailfire and this 600 I'm hoping to do this fall and winter.

Here are a few more pictures. The 80 trailfire, 73 jdx8 and 400...the 400 may become just a parts sled. Now that it's under lights lost of stuff missing under the hood.Image

All of them together.
