Your sled must be an 82 if it's an LX; serial number will be above 190,000 and build date in 1981. Serial number and build date are on the RH rear of the tunnel. Value depends on appearance and mechanical condition such as the track, since those are not available via aftermarket.

Michael between $300- $600. 82' Trailfire LX's are pretty common. I am sure the crankshaft seals will need done. And the oil injection system gone through. They were very faulty from the factory. Also bearings and suspension shafts will need serviced. Pics are always a good thing. Your file you have is probably to large to post. Like Pat mentioned above Track must be in good shape to bring decent money. Trailfires are fun but not a big money sled. If it were an 82' Liquifire all original and low mileage it would be pretty sought after. Jdrob

ended up getting 800.00... it was a fun ride. but now have a 76 liquifire project. thanks for the input.
