I can't find any source for new cleats for JD tracks. I have a 76 Liquifire that will require all grouser bars replaced. I tried to get into the FAQ however that page won't display.
any info is greatly appreciated

None available new aftermarket any more, except the Liquidator ones that Busco Bullet made.

Re: grouser bars for JD tracks
ohhh...so what are my options for a replacement track? I'm restoring my 76 340 Liquifire to be a runner!
I'm also in the market for either a restored skid frame or at least one that is take apartable...mine is so seized, I cant remove the idler wheel bearing races nor remove the front suspension rod. Are the plastic bearings/bushings that are in the suspension tubes available anywhere?
Any help as to how I can move forward to having a very reliable suspension and track/driveline is greatly appreciated!
love the site!!

Lloyd, I am planning on producing several other cleats besides the Dator cleats. What I would need to know from you is how long are your cleats (full or 2/3) and if they are riveted or bonded. I responded to your request for information (Busco Bullet, Inc) and gave you my email address.

Re: grouser bars for JD tracks
that sounds excellent as I was just thinking of persueing that!
the cleats on the 76 Liquifire are 2/3 staggered with 3 holes on the end belt and 6 in the center belt - riveted and are 10 1/2" long.
Were there ever any rubber tracks that are being used for replacements?
I'm in the market for a very good skid frame as mine is rust welded so much that I can't remove cross shafts and idler wheels!!
thanx!
