Inventory says that I have two used ones in stock. Nothing in new.

They broke back in the day, and today's survivors are most likely to soon break, my opinion, so yours are probably not unique. Some time ago Image (715-479-7427) had some NOS throttle blocks for about $50+ or so, unsure if he has any left? I never bought any from him as I thought they too will eventually break. They break either at the set screw hole or the thin section near the emergency stop on the throttle or the dimmer switch on the brake block, most frequently the throttle block because it sees more use. I fixed mine by adding some aluminum plates and screwing and gluing (3M 6004) them into place. That has worked for me. Some not-so-good photos attached. Install, paint black, never to be noticed.

Try a product called (q bond) I've had decent luck with that for throttle blocks.

Re: Wanted: 1980 Liquifire Throttle Block
Good input from everyone. I think I'll try a used throttle block. Worst case it breaks. I like the ideas you guys provided. Thin aluminum reinforcement and/or some strong adhesive. I'll try that on the broken one to experiment. That might work just fine, especially if it is hidden with a little paint.
Thanks guys !
