Wanted: spitfire brake handle assembly
Looking for the handle bar brake assembly. Mine cracked and broke in half. May be the same as other models but I'm not sure. Does anyone have one for sale?

Re: Wanted: spitfire brake handle assembly
The year of the Spitfire makes a difference. The 78-79 (Green) Spitfires would use an AM54619 block while the 80-82 (Black) uses the M67995. Here's the good news, you can switch and use the M67995 block on the 78-79's by using the later dimmer switch. If Pat can't help you I should be able to.

Re: Wanted: spitfire brake handle assembly
Forgot to look today, just got busy with work.
I do have one, just can't remember if it's throttle or brake side. Think it's for a '78 but will know for sure on the part number right away in the morning.

No soap, it's a throttle block. Sorry for my delay!
