1980 spitfire cdi/coil replacement?????

So as always I have a failing cdi but this is in my 1980 Jd spitfire with the Kawasaki 340 f/a and there seems to be no reproduction cdi for it so is there a different system that I can change it to or am I going to need to find a different engine

Did you get any answers to your question? I'm in the same boat.

I wonder if changing out the whole firing system to one out of a Trailfire or liquidfire would work?

Thoughts?
