Paint codes
Do you guys know where to find paint code for jdx8? Was it a specific black? I cannot remember if they were actually flat black or a more gloss black?

Blitz Black is still used by Deere, I believe you can buy it in quarts and spray cans.
Everyone may not agree, but my opinion is that it is a semi gloss or satin black. One of the great things about the color is that you can touch up the sides of the tunnel and foot boards, and it will blend in really well. The 73 X8 restoration I finished last year was all done with Blitz Black in spray cans. I dropped an NOS hood on it, and it matched very well.
