Well, after cleaning the carbs twice and setting it up to 81 specs. I finally fixed my WOT bogg. Before I tore the carbs down it would idle at 3300 RPM with the screws turned in about half way. Now I have to turn the screws all the way in just to get 2300 rpm out of it at idle. I'm pretty sure I've set the throttle cables and choke cables up right. What else should I look for???
When I got the sled it was missing one of the nylon washers for the needles and the E-clip was in the second slot from the bottom. So, I got the washers and moved the clip to the middle position. It ran really crapy like that ( no power at all )so I moved the clip back down a slot and now it runs great. I should mention that I'm still using the 6-DH8 needles because the 6-DH4 needles won't be here until friday. It still has a low end bogg but I'm hoping the new needleswill fix that.?.?. Would that have anything to do with my idle problem??? Would the air mixture screws change this? They are set 1 1/2 turns out right now. I've tried turning then 1/4 in both direction with no change at all.
I'm stumped on this because in the end, the only thing I ended up changing where the power jets. Everything else was already correct. It starts on the first pull with no choke ( in a heated shop ) and the plugs are a nice medium brown.
Almost done but, I have a few more ?'s

Thanks Rich,
I guess it has been all stop and start driving while I've been working on it. But, if I let it idle for a few min. and then pull the plugs, they are dry. Wouldn't the cyl. that isn't firing be wet and fouled?
I'm sure it has the p-4 in both carbs. The only thing that wasn't correct were the power jets. It had 95 on both sides. I know the last owner had them apart so Maybe he changed things around.
