No radiator until 1978 when Deere switched to a bulkhead heat exchanger / radiator combination instead of the previous tunnel heat exchanger below the seat used from 76 - 77.

The photo of the Liquifire didn't give quite enough info, I didn't realize it was green. The 76 and 77s had heat exchangers under the seat, with no bulkhead heat exchanger or radiator.

Yes this is very early serial number. Has exchangers under seat and rad. The fellow who had this sled had two. The second one was newer than this but no rad either.

I assume someone added the radiator, only the 78s came from the factory with one.

Since i talked to you guys i got liquifire running pretty good. Bunch of clutch work. Shimming belt tighter. Also picked up to other liquifire sleds both with engine issues. Plus a 340 engine. Should be able to build complete extra sled. Got the one with two engines for 400 and the other for 300.

Have any of you guys built a aftermarket single for the 78 era liquifire 440’s? Get a little more zip than stock?
