Of course to win, would you elect 4 stroke for fuel economy, agree with the winning legacy surrounding Polaris, but the North Star is lower in the sky today in reliability, agree on Corey, and have watched Bunke do well, Dydrahl is a real ace and very smooth, so what would you budget to win, including your salary, who would do fab and setup, and would you go with a solo driver.......?

Jon and Rich, when considering a budget think about this. Me, riding a SnoPony. By going this way budget funds could be lowered to the point where we could do a lot of beer drinking and talking about our old racing days! Just a thought. Don

From an old indepents point of view, If money is in question, then you probably shouldn't be there in the first place. It is very hard to win when before the starting flag goes down your telling yourself that you have to win to pay the bills, but are also thinking you have to save equipment because your repair bills have ate up your race budget. don't get me wrong you can't win with a drive that distroy's equipment & doesn't finish a race no matter how well you prepare the sled, but I guess what I am trying to say is the driver shouldn't have any worries except how he is going to run HIS race to win. Race bugets shouldn't be any of his concern he has enough to do.
This is just my thinking from past experiance
