1973 jdx4 running problems

Impulse line runs from the left side of the carb to another fitting on the engine block, normally on the left side or PTO cylinder. This has got to be hooked up in order for the carb to pump fuel from the tank.

ya its deff hooked up i noticed that the one going into the motor looks like it can be taken out anything way thats pluged ? dont mind my stupid questions im just throwing some ideas out myself id also like to say that i rode the sled all day an all a sudden it started acting up again its hard to start an when it idols it sucks all the gas up in filter an it seems it wont suck anymore up i was told that maybe i have to hot of a plug in i have BR8es in

Gas filter sounds plugged up. How full is the filter when running?

Well today i put a new impulse line on an a shorter line inside the tank i think it was too long an was bending an sittin above the gas, i had the sled out today an it ran like a champ didnt bog down or anything just my belt came apart

Sorry about your problems BMX, I really think that you just need to get rig of that sled and find youself a news on. I'l be mote tha happy to come up and take tha off you your hands.

I've got to go PA next sunday to pick up another sled, so I can make room for that litle old x4. you really don't want that anyway.
