Having a bit of a problem with Ice building up in the ignition keys on both sleds and the Choke cable only on the X8. The keys wont always turn and the choke cable sticks now and then.
Any remedies out there?

Dont know if this will work for your application, But when I owned a 94' Polaris Indy Storm 800, From the throttle the cable ran under the hood where it connected to a square plastic box where it hooked up to a little arm that held all three throttle cables ( to the 3 carbs) anyways sometimes ice/moister/water would get in there and freeze the cables and I found squarting a little regular green antifreeze in there would do the trick.

The lock de-icer stuff from any autoparts place is in fact good stuff...ive used it on my cables many of times...but after a while, it does wear off. It is a quick fix to not have your sled full throttle into a tree, but after i use the de-icer i use grease and di-electric like takeittothelimit says!
